Should be able to go into "System Volume Information" and delete any restore point.

Is it possible to make any use of any restore point? Never fixed a thing for me.
Nowadays I just disable system restore completely.

Ditto. Even if it were to work to correct something only 50% of the time that's still a lot better than none.

Every blep-blep time that I'ave needed a restore point, restoration was not possible. Now once or twice when the system was not corrupted, the restore points worked.

I've had System Restore save my bacon on a couple of occasions.
Of course, I've also ended up with directories like ATI Technologies(2)(2).

I never even tried.. not with XP anyway (had horrible experiences with system restore in ME back in the day)...
To me, system restore is just a hard drive hog.. I just disable it after a fresh install... ghosting works better anyway.
