The funniest thing about all this is what you are making a number of, logging off after getting killed. You've all done it, had a bad day at work, wife ack, whatever makes your mood sink, got some time for yourself and log on to blow off some steam and just have fun and some tard get a lucky shot on you and that does it. Whatever the circumstances, we've all done it some time.
I rarely post on the boards, rarely ever read them, this thread gives me more reason not to. It's the essence of why I don't like forums like these. I don't like to listen to whiners much, what I do is shoot them down. And if anyone shoot me down all I can do is congratulate, we all play by the same rules.
Some of the best convos I've had ingame is with people I've shot down or has shot me down. Even the worst conversations ingame has been with people I've shot down. I never wh!ne about being shot down (well maybe to my squadmates
) if it bothers me that much I log off and do something else.
Is it cool to show a lack of respect? No, it's merely immature. Show respect to those that deserve it and you will gain respect from others.
My advice is, cut the crap. Just because you shot down a guy that you addmittently didn't even take notice of you think you're special? Well great, I salute you you almighty god of pilots, we are all honored to have someone like you in our community.
I know Storch can be provocative but he do it afaik to get fights and it works, although admittedly sometimes it doesn't.
I've always promoted flying with your brain and not your balls. Fly smart and you'll live, with a bit of luck. If you want to have fun, sure go ahead and throw yourself in a fight at treetop level after rotating. However if you want to have better odds to survive you should position yourself in a advantagous position before attacking. We all play this game differently, let us all do that.
And... just because someone had a bad day, don't make fun of him. I mean, I've had people disconnect in front of me then come back and laugh at me in a private convo about me missing out on perks, I mean, who the fk cares you just show how stupid you are, and I don't come here posting about it.
