I used to have that outlook, but I have decided its not good for me or the community. It takes a bigger man to ignore childish behavior (which is what it is) than it does to "stand up" too it. Start being a man TK and ignore it.

(Drum roll please)

The Great Glorious Gregarious Grits, having used the term in 3 posts, shall now, without benefit of net nor tether, and in no uncertain terms, clearly define the term - disrespect.

/ .unsquelch Grits

(Drum roll softens. The audience waits in uneasy silence, not wanting to watch but unable to turn away.)

(Cut to commercial)

Don't change that channel folks. There's more to come. Our next act will be the Precocious Panzzer nailing down the term "civil behavior" with one arm tied behind his back while blindfolded and hung upside down over a pit of ferocious griefers and fierce flamers.

(Geiko Cavemen get their cheek hairs in a twist)

And now back to the show.

(A spot light blazes to life illuminating Grits in all his Great Gregarious Glory, the drum swells briefly, the anticipation unbearable....)

Don't change a thing. I don't see anything wrong with the AvA. I don't really understand the reason this is such an issue. I think some of us should thicken our skin. That'll be two cents please.  :D

very good point.  Hadn't looked at it that way.

I guess I withdraw my support for my suggestion.  It's just a game after all.

Kong does have a good point Toonces3.

Better things stay as they are, than give us more things to argue about, or point fingers at each other.

The Staff does a good job IMO, no need to put more on their plate.

We all just need to be responsible for our own behavior. Both sides of the arguement have good points.

It's true some of us need to cool our jets on text buffers.

It's also true some of us need to quit being so hypersensitive about what's said.

Shadup and fly seems to be the best option for both sides. ;)

Hi all,

Panzzer, understand your point, respect it but I disagree.

I suggest you turn off 200 for one TOD. Turn off Dot Dar too. That would solve two issues in one strike.

Things will calm down. BB will return to be a place where you discuss new ideas, advertise plans, that sort of thing.

People will fly more, write less, discuss less.

More rules only leads to more arguments. For and against.

Set no rules. Let everything stay on each one's behaviour. Groups tend to reject who doesn't fit in. Just a matter of time.

Just my opinion.

Thank you

Flew in the AVA for the first time in a long time. Found 20 guys were on and got real excited. Have been growing weary of the MA antics for a while now.

In general found the guys there polite and courteous. Most wanted a good 1 on 1 with no HO. Had a couple real good rounds with MVJester, enjoyed flying with and against TCKflas.

I found it to be a great pleasure and real nice change from the MA's. I really home we can have 1 arena where sportsmanship and gentlemen like behavior sets the "rules".  Tues night was like that, and it was great.

Tried again wed and found a different set of folks there. On wed the "rules were a lot looser, and  a few guys announced their frustration re. HO's and gangbangs and left.

I really hope tues was the norm and wed the exception, will try again tonite and see.

I also must admit it took me a few minutes to "learn" the "rules", and recieved a scolding at one point. But I believe in the notion that when in Rome do as the Romans. Once I altered my mindset to the different "rules" offered in the AVA I was richly rewarded with some of the best 1on 1s ive ever had.

Looking forward to many more.

Also, to some of you more rigid types, what would it hurt to play alittle different in the AVA. If you dont want to fly the way the "Rules" state, there are the EW,MW, 2 LW's to fly by other "rules".

Lets all enjoy a refreshing change. An arena where sportsmanship and respect "rule".

Leave your ego in the other areans and come have fun for the sake of it.
