Free Kills?

Ok,
So I was flying today this morning in MA and after a while of continuous pwnage I decided to go to the roster and join Platano in his flight since he's a really good 109 pilot and you all know I love them planes :cool:
I watched him and Archaius fight real good, and when Platano shot him down, somehow I, the freaking observer (you all know 109s dont have gunners) got the kill :huh
If you go to the pilot ranks and stuff and search for my name you will see that I have 1 kill as a gunner while I've never gunned since I started playing the game... now my intrigue is, how is that possible? Seems like AH still needs some debugging -____-

Only thing I can think of would be Platano made Archius auger and you got the proxy? I know when you kill a plane with another player joined, you get 2 kills if you make it blow up.

Same thing just happened to me.  Flyng along watching a squaddie shoot up a 38.  I never fired a shot, 38 exploded and I got the kill...squaddie was still flying and got the assist.  :huh

it's an old bug (if it may be called a bug)
been around as long as the, crashing into the ground into oblivion and have to alt f4 to get out.
