On the way home...

from my buddy's, I'm listening to "The Vault" on Sirius and this tune comes on.   The volume goes up, and I cannot help but remember this man, and this performance.   Even though this took place in 1971 (2 years before I was born), this is, IMO, the best single live performance ever.

Whenever I try to think of favorite live performances this one always comes to mind.

...Oddly enough,  I'm not a big fan of Matchbox Twenty.
