the colors I want to use for these are similar to the 109g14 colors. unfortunately i am a complete ignoramous on accurate german aircraft colors :(

would this be accurate for either of these two skins serenity?
seems like its not far off from the 109k4 of I JG77

heres a color test using default skin. this is all airmess work! i only changed the color. will scratchbuild my skin but wanted to show this one to get color opinions.

personally i prefer these colors on my 109 now to find a profile similar with historic markings to match haha :D

Looks a bit too faded and muted. The colors run into each other. Needs just a bit more contrast between the two. Can't tell about the shade itself, as the colors are off on my monitor here at work. Wish I'd checked at home before leaving.

I know little about 109's.  What was the bulge in the wing on the K series for please?
I am not ashamed to confess that I am ignorant of what I do not know.

Larger wheels in the G series. The wing wasn't thick enough to keep it. On some Gs you'll see the crescent-shaped bump on top of the wing. That's because when retracted the gear is angled, and only half of it is "too tall" for the wheel well. The thing with the K-4 (and G-10?) was speed and performance, so they made the MG bulges aerodynamic, and the same for the wheel well bumps. They made them longer and smoother.

There might be more behind it than that, but essentially, for speed.

109's are dark, dull, worn and bleak killing machines.  I like the effect Fester.

Considering that G10s and K4s only served 6 months tops, were fresh new airframes at the beginning of that 6 months, and were at times grounded due to lack of pilots or fuel or any other number of supplies, I don't think they'd  be as worn as a weary Emil, or an eastern front F4.

They died young, so to speak.

Citabria, this aircraft seems to fit your description:

JG 52

W.Nr 332529, May 1945

The colours are:

RLM 75
RLM 76
RLM 81
RLM 83

Here are the markings I have for it:

And here is an approximation of how it should look:

I believe that we have a simmilar aircraft already in the game, but as far as I can tell, this is accurate colour and marking information.

Given your skinning abilities (as shown in the image you posted earlier), this would be a great addition to the game

Im no expert, but I think its a bit dark... The grey should be a bit whiter, and the green a tad brighter. Like was said above, that doesnt look too wrong as far as colors, its just too worn and old to be a K-4. GREAT start though. I can never get colors that close, no matter how hard I try.

For RLM color references try the following.

Is this a K-4?

I'm not very good at identifying the variants.
