If people like to dogfight and it is about aerial combat, why the MA.

Some pretty good stuff goes on in TA. Is it you can't see the bad guy go poof or catch fire why MA is better?

Or is it about score?

Once upon a time there really only was the MA, CT was a little side note but MA is where most of the socializing happens.

go away noob.

It's like this. TA is where you go to learn to dogfight. MA is where you go when you are a decent dogfighter to play the game against other decent dogfighters. DA is where you duel other dogfighters to see who is truly better, or to just have a 1 on 1 fair good fight.

Just stop.

lol, excactly.  I'd rather see my wing fall off and re up.  Have you ever dueled anyone in the DA and after a couple of minutes you are both missing flaps, ruders, oil damage etc.  Have you killed anyone after he shot your rudder off?  How are you going to do that in the TA? You will have to listen to someone say bang bang bang I killed your left flap? lol

TA is good only for teaching a new guy the basics of a fight, feeding some egos, and producing people that are afraid to fight with out and advantage.

Actually a valid Subject.

If "scoring" was based on K/D ratio vs. K/D ratio, most of these Tom Cruise a/k/a Maverick wannabee's would be left out to dry.

I assure you that most fighter jocks in here would much prefer to shoot down Lancasters, goons or newbies instead of matching up their skills with a similarly ranked (k/d ratio) fighter.

If the k/d ratio of the "victim" were factored into the equation, it would also solve the "shooting ur brother" point padding method.

Something for AH staff to think about.

:huh I'd much rather fight a tard such as yourself than go after a Lanc. I'm far less likely to get hit.

Not really.  k/d and scores can be interprited many ways.  One thing is for sure though.  A low k/d means the person does fight.  For example, if my goal was score or winning, I'd mach rather go against SHawk with a great k/d than lets say Skyrock.  If the goal was fun or just the fight, I'd rather go after Sky.

(No offence SHawk, just using your score as an example)

Who the hell cares about scores? Score only means that you are better at gaming the game. When someone with a better score then me says they're a better stick then me because of it I laugh at them. Only reason I try to have a good score is to keep CVs away from n00bs. Like last night a noob had one off A12 (uncapturable base) whining about taking it when we moved it away.
