I would like to take this moment to tell you that your use of paragraphs is reprehensible.  We shall avoid your atrocious and juvenile use of grammer, syntax, and spelling though.  Alas, that is for another day.

Paragraphs are important to help delineate the topics in your writings.  They help the reader understand where the conclusion of a particular point exists and where the beginning of the next one lies.  By helping structure your observations they project a logical and coherent presentation that all can understand!

And not only are paragraphs important, but, gosh darn, they're fun too!

Melbone:

Hopefully you have seen enough posts to show that your kids are more feared and honored in here than the dweebs and squeekers would lead you to believe.

Please let sleeping dogs lie, and please let your kids enjoy the game by seeing that those who talk trash are both jealous and envious of their natural ability.

My favorite adage was given to me by my in-laws...

"Never wrestle with pigs.  You both get dirty, and besides...the pig likes it."

I'm a geezer....I wish I had AXER's skills.

Signed....a granddaddy.

Man, I hate to do this, but one pedant deserves another:

You misspelled grammar.

However, am I the only one with a particular question in their head; if you believe something is adversely affecting your children, why don't you take the plug off the machine? It seems a bit odd pleading for someone else to solve the problem, when the solution is in your hands.

No offence intended.

This is the insidious abdication of personal and parental responsibility that is so irritating to me.

Johnny's failing school? Must be the teacher's fault.  He's hanging out behind the bleachers smoking pot?  It's his friends' parents that are to blame.  It seems like a lot of parents are pointing the finger EVERYWHERE but at themselves when it comes to their children's problems.

MAN UP, NANCIES.  Take responsibility for your own and your children's actions.  Be a parent, not a roommate or a best pal. The TV or computer is not a babysitter, a teacher or a substitute for socialization.

/rant over.

This rant isn't directed at anyone in particular, just triggered by the thread.  It goes much deeper than that. ;)
