you know, I go into MW and EW to try to find some good 1 vs 1 fights (because you can never get a good fight in MA anymore)...I get a few...but 1/2 the people in there are ranked 50 or less...all they do is milkrun... gets kind of annoying...you finally see a con up from a field...it ends up being buffs...

Yup, those MW and EW arenas are stat padding arenas.  If you go in and actually find someone to fight, he is going to or coming from a strat target.

Those arenas are the only place you can do a 1 vs 3 and actually expect to come out ok most of the time. Lots of fun and great for the SA, until a ringer comes in and spanks you.

Hehe, EW is a great place to have some fun putting around in a stuka and blowin up GV's too.

Yep, EW & MW could be renamed The AH Dairyland arenas. A lot of it is done by noobs and there are people trying (and in some cases succeeding) in showing them that there is much more to the game. Unfortunately, there are also plenty of individuals and squads that roll in just to pump their scores. Odds are, if you see a guy with a double digit score, that's what he is doing. Heck, I've seen plenty of single digit supermen in there with their squaddies milkin' strat and harvesting dweebs. It won't change until HT decides to change the scoring system to prevent it.

At the same time, there are fun fights to be had. Shamus has been a regular. Toad and Baldeagl too. There are a number of noobs that are starting to get it and if they keep doing what they are doing...they will be good players.

Isn't that fantastic? Free kills for you, and chances are you have ruined someones day for wrecking his points per death score in bombers

I have never seen people more freakin out on all channels after being shot down than in EW & MW for that very reason. It's very satisfying

I use the EW as a warmup before switching over to the LW...
I'm fairly new at this game... I fly well, but my gunnery still needs work...
EW is an easy low pressure way, for me to get some fighter stick time...

Just the other day I upped a Zeke, and had a few fair fights with Hurri pilots... Got a kill too... Chased a flight of 88's, shot down a drone, got hit by the gunners, (bloody cockpit) passed out trying to land, and crashed...

Third sortie, upped a Zeke again.... Climbed out to about 6k... Saw a red pip on radar... Figured it was the 88's again.... Nope!!!

It was some perkboy in a P38... He had about 2k in alt on me... I probably should have ran, but I figured this would be a classic fight... Zeke v P38, so why not!!!

He came down fast, from my 2oclock, opened fire a 600yds.... I went full throttle, turned into him, and did a nice corkskrew move... Ha, he missed me.... Pulled around hard, trying to get a shot, but he was already out of range..

We went thru this about 5 times, same results... Then he came in at a steeper angle, I did the same twist move, but split s'ed out of it and finally got a shot at him... 600yds, so I just kind of sprayed at him...

Dont know what happened, but he started RUNNING??? I couldn't catch him, but I followed for awile anyway... Thinking he was going to come back... I lost sight of him, and turned for home... Low on fuel anyway..

I was flared out for landing, wheels down, flaps down... And lo and behold, here's perkboy's P38 shootin at me again... Before I could get my wheels up, he blew my wing off... Boom I died, LOL!!!

I thought, what a dirtbag... Don't know about you guys, but that seemed pretty lame to me... I didn't whine about it, just kept on flyin.... Gettin better all the time.... I'll do the same to him sooner or later..

I have to ask.  What on eart made you think you could get a good fight in those arenas?  All I ve seen is ack runners and milk runners.  MA is  your best chance or just ask if anyone wants to DA

MOST of people in EW MW are there for score padding only.

Its beyond me why the scores are STILL linked to LWs.   The current scoring system is a joke, too bad its not funny.

I also go into MW (I like the plane set) looking for 1 vs. 1 in my A6M5b without any high-alt pony D's or La's. Problem is there is very rarely anyone else there flying fighters. So I just go into LW and get shot down alot
