Just curious, been away for awhile; multiple reasons....

So what we got in the MA's, is the talent still there? Used to find best sticks in the sim world here, still ...?

I know the game's moved on, but the spirit - would love to know.

The community isn't what it used to be, though there are still plenty of nice, and polite people.

There are still many good sticks here, but sometimes I can't find them through the hordes of newbs.  Keep in mind it is summer, and isn't a true representation of the AH community because most kids just play during the summer, and stop when school rolls around.

All in all, there are good people here still, just have to meet them by luck.  OR on Thursdays and Tuesdays you can find a decent crowd in the Axis vs Allies arena.  Most of the time you get clean, good fights.

I'll have to say that i'm thinking about starting up AH2.. again.

It is summer, i'm out of school, however i've done Warbirds II, III, and the original AH back 4 years ago heh. So I don't think i'll add to the hordes of noobs problem.

I'm looking forward to flying Knits again, and maybe rack up some kills in my Dora! I think the last time I really played AH was back in the Battle of the Rhine scenario. I don' t think i'll ever forget hearing "dots"

And then "more dots"

...And then "more dots"

...and then 100 "more dots"

...and then watch in awe as I fly through 200 B17's and still not get hit by a single gunner... just to taxi the plane off the runway and have to exit flight later during refueling.

Plenty of old sticks and good fights to be found still. If newbs and the hordes of lala, dora, spixteen and pee51s with their pork and run gaming style doesnt bother you then its still the best game out there.

Almost every day i really want to quit, but i keep comming back for more

I remember you when I first started playing in April of 2002.

AHII is da bomb.

Plenty of old sticks (and new ones) who can kill you with their joysitck behind their back.

Plenty of noob target drones.

Furball.  GV.  Bomb.  Capture.  With more arenas for more options.

Weekly events.  Scenarios.  Walk on at 3pm EDT today for a biggie.

Ch. 200 for fun and entertainment.  .squelch for those not fun or entertaining.

As always there's no shortage of crybabies, but also, as always, no shortage of quality wingies.

The community is better than ever.  For example, the trainers are offering regular training publicly as well as private lessons.  The current scenario is breaking new ground.

AHII is growing, and growing better.  You'll love it again.

Unfortunatly I do not remember you.

I guess it is easier to remember a youngun' instead of your regular player!

That, and I think my memory is bad. I can't even recall a person from my squad, 101st Carolina Ironheads, except for Eddie...

Yep, now I really remember you.   You guys were in AH until about 2005, then the squad just disappeared.
