Well, obviously you've survived because we're not the type that would force our own views/opinions on any one.

Those type of people are on the other side, the side that has no problem with making you conform to their views/opinions.

The gun argument serves to illustrate perfectly well.

The pro-gun side doesn't care if YOU own one now or ever; they just want to be allowed to own one themselves.

The anti-gun side is the side that knows what's best for everyone and supports bans, confiscations, etc.

I know I'd rather be on the libertarian side; do what you like and please allow me the same courtesy.
