True but with the plane set up now its not really a "even" playing field. The allies out class the axis so much at alt where the fight will most likely be taking place it will be a slaughter fest. The main thing scenarios are for is to have fun, and I don't think one side out classing the other is really all that fun imop. Now I realize lots of time goes into planning these things. But in a scenario you can not run a side with only 4 planes that are out classed.

Again just my 2c.

Stranger things have happened, I guess.

Just had another though: Please tell me this is a 4-frame event? I prefer those over 3-frame events :D

With that plane set I think there gonna have a hard time getting people to sign up for Axis, I bet the Allies registration will fill up much faster then the Axis.

The plane sets match exactly what was available and what was assigned to the Gruppen and Groups at the time frame of the Scenario.  I have references which can be checked by those with a Library.

The only stretch made is that II/JG 26 has Fw-190D9s operationally one month early and I wish we had the P-47D 28 for the 56th FG guys.

The First Frame is "November 2, 1944", Brooke is wrong in his description.

Trust me that the FW-190A8s will not be the only available ride.  The Luftwaffe CO has great latitude in his assignments.

You guys are cracking me up, the basic description is posted and your already all over it complaining.

As it is I fully expect to loose huge amounts of bombers.  But I am not so concerned with winning, I want to fight a realistic battle based upon what planes were available and in use.  Someone suggested subbing P-47Ns in as the D9s are going to be a terror at alt, I declined as they (or the M) were not available.  A realistic scenario, like Husky can be alot of fun for both sides.  Heck I almost asked to be the German CO, but the allied is going to require more work, more coordination and I cannot fly against the 4th FG!

Krusty I would have expected better from you at least. :p You might want to try and Google the name of the event.

Now off to finish some 109k skins for you Luftwhiners to fly. :aok

You must find a balance between realistic and fairness in this "game". Member these planes in games don't perform exactly as they did in WWII. As you very well know from your knowledge of American planes Fencer the Allies have a advantage in the plane set, that was my point I was trying to get across.  Obviously we will have to wait for the rules to come out before we can really get into things like how are the axis supposed to bring the fight to the Allies with the plane set etc etc. So until the rules come out there really isn't much to talk about. We can only dream with our minds for now :)

Edit: When those darn forums from Husky gonna be opened up! :furious
