So, to hopefully extend this tutorial.  Antialias Settings and Anisotropic Filtering are currently set to 'application controlled'.  Is this as it should be for optimum performance in AH?

Go to Right Click > Properties > Settings > Advanced > 3D tab if using ATI.

Funny as I can set it for global or for individual programs in the New Control Panel.

I can only do it using "Classic Control Panel." I don't see a setting anywhere within the "New Control Panel."

Can you post a screenshot?

I've had a lot of gunnery problems since the last version came out. I changed my Vsync to forced on, and my gunnery is much better. I didn't suffer any frame rate loss. Not that i have great frame rate anyway. Thanks guys for posting this info.

What driver version are you running?

It's under Control Panel/lDisplay/ settings/Advanced/Geforce /start NV control panel/Manage 3d Settings/global settings/scroll down feature category and move down to Vsync  and move right under setting column and click Force On and then Apply.  I'm stupid as I don't know how to post screenshots in here.

I'm running Xtreme-G 162.01 xp 32.bit drivers for my BFG 7800 GT OC vid card.

Hope this helps some.

The new nvidia drivers suck so hard that I almost regret getting the 8800.

Well, I have a 6600gt, I used to run 61.77, now that I reloaded my box with XP (was 2000) I am running the latest release without any problems.

Though, I run a very stripped down box.

Does anyone know why it will cause rubber bulets if it is off?  Other than causing a fliker on your screen I can't think of any reason this would effect the bulets.

Just a guess.

If not synced it might render a frame as a hit. But the cpu wont send that info to the server. Then it wont get to your target so he never receives the hit.

The quickest way to get answers to questions like these is to use the BBS SEARCH function at the top of the page before you post anything.

Use "vsynch" (or other technical or support topic) for the keyword, and "skuzzy" for the user name.

In many cases, you'll find your answer in less time than it takes to type the question and post it.
