Does anyone have any good tricks on getting a major red wine stain out of a 100% cotton shirt?

My wife tried this. It worked. It initially looked like a slight brownish stain replaced the original stain, but it came out in the wash. (White cotton knit shirt).

Best thing is to pour the rest of the bottle on the rest of the shirt so it all matches.

There is a product called WineAway that I used to sell to remove red wine stains from linen tablecloths. It works like magic.

You can also use an oxygen based cleaner like OxyClean. Be careful, unless the cloth is white you may also fade the color.

SUCESS!  Believe it or not, I actually tried the old Curb Your Enthusiasm Salt and Club Soda trick and it worked!  I'm pumped.  This is my favorite shirt! (Fun summer shirt with palm tree's on it).

Yup...salt and soda water.  I was gonna say that your shirt was toast because you really should apply the soda and salt immediately after the wine hits the shirt.  Wait too long and you're toast.  Looks like you got lucky.
