What about that 109, Fester?
i am building the 109 from scratch.
all panel lines and details are being extensively researched.
the skin I am doing is for a 109g10 of jg4 with what I think is RLM 75/83 over 76.
I bought about 200 dollars worth of books including the pricey color reference books with extensively researched color swatches. what they say is that the germans like everything else they did went overboard on quality control and only began to lose their hold on this towards then end but even then the colors were still standardised but due to subcomponents being assembled prepainted there were mismatches in patterns and which standard colors were being used.
its actually quite interesting.
I like to understand exactly what it is that these planes are in terms of how they were built painted and how they aged and faded in the elements and heavy combat use.
I have skinning duties to attend to at the moment so the 109 project will have to wait until I finish my preproduction default skin project.
