As Hammer mentioned, we (trainers) look at a number of criteria.  If it were only a matter of ease of handling, that would include quite a few more plane types.  But we are also considering excess power since most new players have no concept of the big "E" or energy management, and how important that is to air combat.  Then there is the matter of an ammo load that has a chance of being effective in the hands of a player inexperienced with gunnery.  That leaves the spit8 and n1k2 at the top of my list of recommendations, with a nod to the spit16 and 109f.

A Request from the Trainers
« Reply #16 on: July 04, 2007, 02:35:24 AM »
Would you mind scheduling a time for a squad based training if that can be accomidated.

I cannot teach acm, BUT a day to learn together may help some members. If there is anyway to arrange this, I would request a day we can do this.

Happy 4th, how about August. PM me, or either way please let us know if this feasable, to learn/record acm as a group.

Thank You
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

4deck, yes we have hosted squad training sessions in the past.  I'd suggest comming up with a timeframe during a day of the week where most of your people could make it, and letting us know via emailing trainers at flyaceshigh.com so it could be arranged.
