Guess I'm missing some sort of point with this one. I suppose it's because I grew up in the grain belt of America and know quite a few folks that have degrees in agro-science and they do that sort of thing all the time, testing wheat out in the fields by eating it. A trained person can tell allot about a crop just from tasting the raw grain.

I suppose I'm used to the "caption this" photos already having a funny or twisted spin to them to begin with. This one just looks like a guy doing his job.

"I like fresh bread, but this is ridiculous."

Hornet, it's Putin, so maybe "It doesn't even TASTE like ricin" is more appropriate?

Pretending to do someone else's job. Trying to look good.

He was born in Leningrad and probably never saw a wheat field in his life.

I was also born there, I saw wheat fields since I was a kid - thanks to my Ukrainian family, but I don;t understand a thing in agriculture.

What I can say: a very good propaganda "hook", because 90% of the Russians will think exactly as You. We are only 3 generations away from our peasant ancestors.

VVP is a huge step forward, but still I can't agree with his policy, and such pictures are good for semi-literates but not me. Thanks, no.

In AMERICA, you spend Friday night looking for party!  In SOVIET RUSSIA, The Party finds YOU!

It's an old Yakov Smirnoff meme.

It is only insensitive ruffian that does not include cue card [laugh now] for the humor impaired. I am ashamed for us all.  :p

Odd. Silly jokes, but OTOH I bet you'll think I'm crazy when I'll laugh about Zhvanetskiy's "lobster joke".

"Orwellian"?

You guys already live in an Orwellian world, not me. Orwell wrote his 1984 about Western society, and, unfortunately, he was right :(
