Can you make an insignia for squad or does it have to be made for us ?....any help would be Appreciated

You have to design your own noseart, then submit it to HTC.

From the Help Section:

"The Upload Noseart button can be used by the squad CO to upload a 64x64 noseart graphic. Graphics are not displayed in the game nor on the web page until they have been reviewed by the HTC staff. The transparency color to use in order to make your noseart blend into the plane is {176, 176, 176}. To upload a graphic, make sure your 64x64 bitmap file is named with your Game ID and is in your ../HTC/Aces High II/squads/ directory. Next, click the Upload Noseart button. Once the noseart is approved, your squad members may force the new image to download by deleting the existing noseart in their ../HTC/Aces High II/squads directory."

64 x 64 pixels it is, you must also remeber to watch the file size. I think it can be no larger than either 6k or 8k on the file size........

res ( resolution ) will be what determines how big a file it is when it is set at 64 x 64 pixels 64 res, 68 res, 72 res ( most use 72 resolution I do believe )

to get a good idea of what your limits are is to go into the squads sub-folder and look at the properties of some of the nosearts uploaded by other squads...

look at resolution , look at file size, and look at what color bit they are set to, bit meaning 8 bit, 16 bit, 256 etc........

It would be a waste of time for you to make a nice looking squad patch / nose art and then have it no be accepted......

Thx again Tc....we actually just want to make a small Insignia very simple...very noticable...everyone knows this one ( not old insignias from old war days )....it willl seem kinda silly to others but we just formed Squad to have fun on here and play a Game

....we would like to have Smiley face with words " Have a nice day ".....hehe....We are here to have fun Right ?....any suggestions on how i can actually do this or where there is a site where we can make it and then send it in ?....Again thanks for help guys....Im an old AW guy Flew it from Start ( testing ) to finish when they took it off internet... then took a long time off.

Almost cried when they took AW off hehe......but on a good note i am really enjoying this site and love the game and all players in it are fun to be with and its a very good site......see a lot of the things here that made AW Great to me and am very glad that you have this site in....i will go thru my old AW buddy list and Highly Recommend this to them if most are not already here....again it been fun Flying with you guys look Forward to a lot MOre ~~..........P.S. ...Lusche Quit shooting me down lol~~

how do you get a squad put up on the list of squads and how do you maqke nose art
