Feel good story

Rayshun said he's not sure why he did what he did except that he was thinking of protecting 2-year-old Ryan.

"I knew he needed help," he said. "I just did it."

Well done. Uncommon valor for a 5 year old.

BTW Iron, I take it you live in the Charlotte area?

You really should have put something about the story besides the link there. It really is a good story.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Ok, I have to share part of my breakfast conversation with my 5 year old son Victor.

"Victor, yesterday I read about some kids who were saved from a rabid fox..."
"Daddy, what's 'rabies'?"
"Rabies is a sickness that makes animals go mad, you remember in 'Old Yeller' how Yeller got mean, and tried to bite the family and they had to shoot him?"
"Yes"
"Well he got that way because he got rabies from being bitten by a wolf with the same sickness."
"Oh"
"Anyway so these little kids, younger than you, were saved by the bravery of this little boy Rayshun..."
"Daddy what's a 'boyration?'"

I almost snarfed my coffee.
