Old Air Warrior image I created
« on: July 08, 2007, 10:15:24 AM »
I was looking at our squads films newsgroup and can across a pic I had made and posted back in April of 1999. A squadmate posted the original picture concept a year earlier or so, but I am at a loss where it is. So the idea is not my original. This is the view we had in Air Warrior for many years. The dash panel never moved, the insert where the co-pilot is now bulging his eyeball, was the only view - but contained all of the hat views. (Pre-AW3.)

I decided one rainy day to fly a B17 loaded under a hanger upside down. In AW that was difficult-a challenge to do. Well, our low-key, never blinking, butterbar 2nd Lt, boy wonder copilot, got to be the subject of our/my madness! :rofl

Yep, upside down, 1 notch of flaps, almost stalled...... :O

So what did he think I was going to do.....Back DOWN!   NEVER!

That's awesome, K-Ken. Brings back a flood of wonderful memories (but I never flew a B17 upside down)!
