I think its going to be an ongoing series.

As for Starbuck, Battlestar Galactica only has one more season then its finished.

AFAIK, next BSG season is the last one.

"Bionic Woman"..... seems like the relative success of rehashed 1960's 1970's and 1980's shows in tv and movie format and updated for the 21st century is continuing out of Hollyweird.....  BSG, Miami Vice, Bionic Woman,......
guess we can look forward to "The Love Boat", "CHiPs", "Magnum PI", "Simon and Simon", "Knight Rider", "The A Team", "M.A.S.H.", ad infinitum ad nasium.

No new writers with original talent, or the copyrights are running out on these licenses?

****ers!!  It better be a damn good performance straight through, and no filler episodes.  I will accept no less -  The fleet finds earth and cylons die.  Or, they all find some nifty way to integrate.. and happily coexist with fluffy bunnies hopping in dew covered meadows.  And I want an epilogue too, none of this "Earth!  It's beautiful!" [/b] crap either.  I guess any strong sense of closure will also do, regardless of the outcome.

That said - This bionic thing looks neat.  I just don't see how many recent shows expect to have life after two, maybe three seasons... the concept just doesn't allow for much expansion before the Fonz jumps another shark in Lake Michigan. ;)

Seems to be the same business model that Paramount uses for Star Trek games: take an existing theme or concept, jazz it up, get whatever money you can for it in the short term, and dump it before the costs for updates, improvements, or fixes start to pile up (or in this case, before the actors start demanding higher wages for successful shows).   Then go to syndication / discount bin to squeeze more out of it.

And since when does 12 to 14 episodes constitute a "season"??  I remember a few years ago it was around 22 episodes for a season of hour long shows.

Yeah, I remember that too.

And to think what they're gonna do to my beloved Magnum, P.I. with this stupid new movie with Wooderso...err, Matthew McConaughey playing Thomas Magnum, Steve Zahn is Rick Wright, Tyrese Gibson is T.C. Calvin, and William H. Macy is Higgins.

Oh the humanity...:cry

BSG 4 Life.  Anyways, I thoroughly enjoy her.

EDIT: And after watching that trailer, I was right I should have gone to bed 10 minutes ago.  Pretty crappy!

I wouldnt mind seeing Space 1999 redone , and some new westerns .
