Nothing wrong.

After 6 months collaboration of the most prolific skin makers under the sun, that's what they came out with.
It was the only way to hide that eyesore of a bomber.

It's still one of the history mysteries what Johnson was thinking when designing it.
All he succeeded to design was ugly bunch of airplane parts flying in loose formation.

General Henry "Hap" Arnold had the right idea. Ferry all P-38s to Greenland and bury them in ice cap. Almost worked...

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Encyclopedia of Flying Machines disagree:
Quote
P-38 is possessed by physical things that are unappealing to the senses, especially visually. It often provokes revulsion. The opposite of P-38 is beauty.

Some argue that ugliness of P-38 is a matter of subjective aesthetics, however the predominant view in the scientific fields is that p-38 ugliness is an indicator of poor design and physical faults.
