Aces High has 4 dedicated text radios, each can be tuned to a different "channel"
You can see these by simply hitting the / key in game. That will bring up radio 1. The long bar is what you type into, ie the text buffer.
Above it are the 4 small boxes for the text radio, and the 5th Voice box for tuning a voice channel.
The easiest way to tune any of these is with a dot command.
All a dot command is, is typing a period " . " first followed by the command and any variables.
Example
.ef typed into the text will end your sortie, assuming your on the ground and stopped.
.move 1 will move you to field 1 as long as
A: your not already at field 1
B: field 1 is on your country's side
C Your in tower/hanger, ie not in flight.
So to change a radio the easy way we'll set it up like this.
.radio 1 1(your telling the game your setting radio 1 to channel 1)
In the main you'd use 200 for the open channel instead of 1.
ie .radio 1 200
.radio 2 2 Channel 2 is your country channel, only your country mates see it.
Its green, and we are setting it to radio 2.
.radio 3 3 Purple, local or room channel. Ie only those in the same room or those who took off from the same field will see it.
4 is squadron channel
5 is mission channel
6 is help channel
Also you can tune people privately, so only they see your message.
.radio 1 ghosth would tune radio 1 to me. Assuming I'm in the same arena.
You can also click in any of the radio boxes, backspace till its clear, then type whatever channel number or handle you want, hit enter.
BTW the key shortcuts for each radio is listed below it.
