Just returned after spending the week at Whidbey Island, WA near my son's football camp at Fort Casey. The first pic is my son and his best friend having alittle helmet-to-helmet meeting on the final scrimmage game Saturday.

The last two pics are from the 100 year old Inn that we stayed at on Penn Cove.(Captain Whidbey Inn) It is built from Madrona wood. Very cool place with alot of history.

Time to go back to work tomorrow. :(

I crab fish around there, I think.

Yup. We crab fish just offshore of West Beach. We were almost HOed by a C-130 on Final (dad decided to "not notice" the restriced zone).

Too bad the boat's busted....

We sat at the CPO for 30 minutes waiting for naval aircraft to take off , land, and nothing was going on. Soon as we headed south on Hwy 20, EA-6's filled the air. :(
