The best scenario is when I'm flyin B24s and I find an set of enemy Lancs below me ;-)

I had a dog fight with Knuckles many months ago Lancs vs Lancs. To my surprise I got all three of his. Was a fun fight. ~~Knuckles~~

I found a video somewhere on youtube with 2 whole bomber MISSIONS encountering echother.

Quite cool

maybe I'll make a mission and tell my buddy in rooks too make a mission. We'll lead the missions right into echother and then once we see echother.. we tell our bombers to spread out and destroy the others...

yea... that's what I'll do

I've never done bomber vs bomber..However I was in a 262 mission once.. We must have had 15 262's. Our mission ran into a bomber mission that must of had 15 to 20 sets of bombers.

Back in Jan or Feb I was at 20k comming home with my B17s, I spotted an enemy flight of B17s at my 12 about 3k below me. Once they passed under I turned around and dove on them, got dead on their six and took out two. He didn't even start firing back until the wing of his 3rd was off.

My best buff on buff encounter was my JU-88's encountering a flight of Ki-67's, each of us RTB from runs.

Finally tally was me losing 1 JU-88 and 2 others shot up bad, and him DT out of there with 1 lone surviving Ki-67. It was a fun fight though. He fighting with those Ki-67's lousy turns and poor formation ability, me trying to stay OUT of his 20mm firing arc. Wish I'd have recorded that one.

Back when I ran high B-17's, I dove down on an enemy flight with a good 10K alt advantage. Wing struts were protesting something fierce, but a passed down through the enemy formation guns blazing. Sort of a hit and run thing, but also fun. Did some damage. Parts carved off. Some smoke and vapor trails and probably some ded gunners.

I'm not sure what is worse: that they used a song originally sung by Hanson, or that someone actually remade that piece of pop fluff. (....or that I recognize it....).

Only had this happen once in heavys the S3's in Warbirds. We were RTB'ing a short run with about 20 B24's , and happened along a squad of Ju88's who were greening up for a coastal target, so they were'nt looking in thier tailguns. We were almost dead co alt, had to drop about 500 feet to hover d3 above them and totally shreded thier formation with 50's. Talk about a bonus! an airfield and an industrial target destroyed, and 8 or 9 kills

Really must have sucked for them because those events are one life.

Similar is a couple weeks ago RTB'ing an NOE mossie raid to the refineries in the LW arena, we happened upon a goon dragging drunks....and us with 8 mossies / cannons, and we were empty. The outcome is obvious. Good sport about it though, threw him a S!, and got one back. Good times

Air Warrior had a funky little arena called "Dueling Galleons".

Folks could only take up buffs (that had no bombs, that I can remember), and let folks duke it out Death-Star vs Death-Star.

I remember the time I was gunning for someone during a mission and we came across low B17s (believe I was in B26) and they passed right under us and I caused some good damage but not enough to make em kiss the ground.

There was another two seprate sorties where I shot down a Zeke with my main B26 guns and another one was a goon (ripped wings off just as I destroyed it)

I go outta my way to find bombers when I RTB in B17,24's. Its just that much fun.
