How I heard of AH
« Reply #30 on: July 18, 2007, 08:11:34 AM »
Westy posted some screen shots from AH beta on an AW forum.........

by early 2001 AW FR was a ghost town and AW scenarios had all but died..........

Then I later learnt that AH was to have an La7 (something I had been hoping BB would add to AW ).............

Tilt first appeared in Tour 14 yet I know I flew the AH La5FN for a few weeks prior to the La7 being introduced............. probably during a free trial period or as a number.

if you don't mind the inquiry, as a new member how do you find the game and it's subsequent spillover onto these boards?

Where was this at?  That would be cool to try AH in something like that.  And why are you paying $30 a month?  You just like AH that much you pay double?

Regards,

I can't believe that nobody in AW told you about AH.  The AH open beta was open before Gamestorm died.

You missed a couple good years.  :(

it use to cost $30 a month to play, but HT lowered the price about the time AW was killed.

Drunky got me hooked on AHII.  Up to that point I never played any online games but I did fly on Flight Sim.

I have always liked WWII history specially the Naval history (No wonder I’m in a Naval squad :lol).

When I came on we had a lot more maps/bigger ones & we did not have E.W.A.-Green, M.W.A.-Purple, L.W.A.-Orange, or L.W.A.-Blue.

I have grown to like the AvA & SEA alot more rather then the same ‘ol, same ‘ol that is the MA’s.

Delafield huh?

Germantown here.

there's probably 5-10 AH'ers in WI that I can think of... aand I know of 3 in Milwaukee that don't play actively any more.
I don't know what to put here yet.
