Any news would be appreciated...

There were a lot of prototypes and test beds, some dedicated trainers, and a few converted to transports for Ike and the boys,.... plus the Navy designations were different than Army Air Corps designations,.... but in the end, the major production models that saw combat were:
B-25 B
B-25 C/D (same plane, different factories)  (PBJ-1C/D)
B-25 G   (PBJ-1G)
B-25 H   (PBJ-1H)
B-25 J    (PBJ-1J)

Seems most want the B in modified Doolittle form, the G or H with the howizer, or the J for strafing.  So, you'll get the C/D variant.... at least the skinners will be happy.

Work on the B-25 will begin after that for release in version 2.11.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

I was about to say, it only takes maybe 8 hours or so to make a model, texturing and skinning doesn't take that long. The cockpit and gunner areas shouldn't take that long. Sound stuff is a breeze, coding, getting the weapons correct and getting the FM correct is what should take the longest. Our guys over at PoE can spit out a done model for BF2 in about two days. And we all have full time jobs on top of our work on the mod.

I am not criticizing HTC. I am just saying it takes a LONG, LONG, LONG time for things to get done over there. So I would say give it two weeks and we should have it.

I'm pretty sure the B-25 will be out in the next actual version. BEFORE that we might see some patches to the existing version.

Cool! I'll pay $160  of my personal money if you can make me a working model of a HS-129. I need it to be low poly, no geometry errors (no concurrent verts / planar quad faces), fully animated, including all interior parts. 2 1024 textures in BMP format pls (one interior / one exterior). Ooops  - I forgot the 3d damage modelling  / bullet holes. Oh yeah - I need LODS and some other things as well....

Can I have that by 8am tomorrow?;)
