I was born in LA so tuned into the show... it is strange and the strangness does catch your attention.

at first..

I don't see how it can be sustained tho.. not like Deadwood...  

None of the characters are anyone I would want to know.  they are all total whiney wastes of space.   Every one a "victim".

I rented the first three disks of the first season of Deadwood this past weekend.

Not bad.  If there is absolutely nothing else on I may rent the other 3 disks this weekend.
