Has anyone figured this show out yet? It's very intriguing, especially if your a Deadwood fan. (I can't wait for Swearengin to show up!) But I'll be damned if I can figure the show out. Is he an angel? Is he Jesus? Is he an alien? Just WTF is going on???

It reminds me of Twin Peaks. Very complicated surrealism. All I know for certain is it's well written, has a great cast and it makes me want to surf.

I noticed they carried over from Deadwood into John From Cincinnati that very peculiar way of talking. I don't think anyone in the world really talks like that.

Greyson is Christian Fletchers son (one of the pioneers of modern Aerial surfing)
And his Uncle is Nathan Fletcher.

Christian and Nathan were in turn the sons of Herbie Fletcher (a surfing Legend).

Herbie Fletcher = Christian Fletcher/Nathan Fletcher = Greyson Fletcher

So yeah Greyson is the real Deal as far as Surfing goes.

yes herbie fletcher=the rebirth of the longboard and the kid would be the real thing. herbie fletcher was surfing the north shore of oahu before the media was there, before pipeline became "pipeline".
