Wow are you kidding me?

"The B-29 (Boeing 341/345) was one of the largest aircraft to see service during World War II. It was one of the most advanced bombers of its time, featuring innovations such as a pressurized cabin, a central fire-control system, and remote-controlled machine gun turrets. It was designed as a high-altitude daytime bomber, but flew more low-altitude nighttime incendiary bombing missions. It was the primary aircraft in the U.S. firebombing campaign against Japan in the final months of World War II, and B-29s carried the atomic bombs that destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Unlike many other bombers, the B-29 remained in service long after the war ended, a few being employed as flying television transmitters for Stratovision. By the time it was retired in the 1960s, some 3,900 planes had been built.

The airframe was further developed into the B-50 for the USAF, and the Soviet Union developed a virtual carbon copy Tupolev Tu-4 which was reverse engineered from confiscated B-29 airplanes."

lol I was making a joke to bluenams post and was just dumb quoting Geary. The B-29 flew in WW2 and Korea, and the B-52 flew through the cold war, vietnam, first gulf war, and now the war on terror.

You know whats funny though, is when a kid at my school says "My grandpa flew bombers in WW2." I reply, "Sweet what bomber did he fly?" he replies "That big four engine bomber, uh the B-52." I reply, "Dude your thinking of the B-29, or maybe the B-17 or 24, not the B-52. The B-52 came out after ww2." He replies, "Dude I know what I'm talking about, you don't. He flew B-52 in Europe during WW2, go read your history!"

Man I love it. sory if my peost get yous cunfuesd. I can somtymes misstakenly missspelt a words.

My Translation from Gibberish to English:

You are all noobs because the b29 did see service, fat man, little boy. Noob, wow what noobs...

WE KNOW the B29 did see service! But you dont realize that there were only FIFTEEN (That's 15) B29's reconfigured to carry a nuclear bomb (i.e.: Fat man, Little Boy.)
