ME163 fuel multiplier
« on: July 22, 2007, 11:07:40 PM »
This may be a know issue, I did a quick search and found nothing on it.

I was doing some testing offline, with the 163. I turned the fuel burn multiplier down to .001 (minimum) and to my surprise still ran out of gas in about 5 min. I tried several different multipliers and saw no effect on the ME163 only. Other AC acted as they should, with greatly increased fuel range.

I was using the Rhine map, offline.

Can someone confirm this for me?

If I get a chance I will try another map.

Yup. I think the 163's fuel consumption is hardcoded, so that it can have it's historical endurance (around 5mins) in our MA's without having too much flightime in other setups with lower fuel burn multipliers

you can put throttle to 25% still go 400mph and have and E6B close to 12min.But you cant get really high.I learned from people stay low in a 163,you will have more gas.
