So there's nothing inherently wrong with the merits, you just don't like the existence of the NAACP? Interesting.

[edit] Having re-read the article again I think you're right. I DID miss the racist hypocritical B.S. drivel. Can you point it out to me?

Should we have let that go too?

Actually we did for over 100 years after the Civil War ended.... and still occurs to this day in some places.  opps.

Why?

With over 80% of the population contracting herpies at some point in their lives. Odds are if you havent had them. You will.

Odds are you probably already have had them and didnt know about it as often they tend to clear up on their own.

Me
I dont know if I have had them.
Dont know if I havent.
But its not anything that keeps me awake at night LOL

I dont like the existence of the NAACP because it is in itself a racist organization.

And will remain so until such a time when it is changed to NAAAP
National Association for the Advancement of All People

OR
NAAUP

National Association for the Advancement of Underprivileged People

So long as it remains an association dedicated to only 1 race of people it will be nothing more then a racist organization

Imagine the outrage that would be raised if they came out with a NAAWP
National Association for the advancement of White People.

There would be protests galore and riots outside the headquarters.

Sorry you cant have it both ways

The NAACP is hypocritical in that they were very qucik to condemn the Duke Lacrosse players only later calling for a gag order when it became apparent that the "victim" was of very questionable integrity and moral character.

Wow...any opening to push a agenda.

Don't know why this surprises anyone:  3,600+ servicemen die in Iraq and it's "bring them home now".  Little mention of the 1,000+ contractors killed there as well.  And the 100,000+ killed in Darfur?   tsk....too bad... sounds terrible... what else is on tv.  Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Kosova.  Post-holocausts "Never Again"....riiigghhhtttt.

The value people put on lives, human or animal, is not logical or on a level playing field.  Always has been that way.

abortion?  Want to end the common practice, then support sex ed, family planning, and supporting safe sex.  But, the majority (or at least those leading) in the pro life group only support two items: abstinence or women as baby-factories.

As to the lives of animals?  Stewards of the Earth or some such, no?  A domesticated animal living among humans is generally totally dependent on said humans through its entire life.
I've met very few dogs I'd wish harm to, but I've met or seen many men whom I wished would come to a swift and sudden end for the good of the species and society.

ted:

I've just found the reactions and comments educational.  The NAACP stance is predictable, as is the closet emptying of any skeletons the man has.

But the stance so many have taken due to the nature of the crimes, the cruel treatment of animals...and the outage over it are interesting.

I wasn't trying to push any agendas, just thinking aloud at what offends people and what they are fine with.

First thing that occurred to me was that the liberals were confounded: On one side, ya got a black man being stomped on by the man, and on the other side ya have furry animals being slaughtered......whatever is a good commie-lib to do?

the irony didn't escape me and it's going to be funny to watch it play out.  I think that ultimately the liberals will side against the human being in favor of the animals.  they hate themselves and the rest of humanity by extension.

Storch...lazs is the big slammer of liberals around here.  You come off as a cheap copy-cat when you talk about liberals.
