Training Recorder Mod

I would like to be able to use the aces high film veiwer in the offline practice and be able to fly through any furball I have recorded.. all planes in range would fly like they were but My orginal plane would be a ghost, and I would be in free command of the same model starting in the same spot the ghost is in at the begining of recording

this would be better because:
1. I could practice a real scenario..
2. practice againts manuevers that get me every time
3. practice without having to waste time taking off .. I know how to do that

Yer, i like this idea. I suggested it to the trainer corp a few weeks back, but there are other and better ideas that were suggested.
Just remember that your opponents will always react the way they were recorded, and not to any new move you make - which will be highly unrealistic. So it would be limiting as a training tool due to this.

true but...
1. you could closly trail behind the man who shot you down in your model of plane to see performance differences between your plane and his, and steal his tactics so to speak.

2. you could do the same with others.

I am very curious as to the other ideas.. anything would be better than planes flying in a continuous circle.

How about a check 6 trainer then. Where the computer puts a plane on your six and lines up and takes shots. You could pick the model and the computer would just try to get to 200 ft behind you turning to that planes best mobility and shoot you when you entered its crosshairs. Please please training with no take off..

you could do this in Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 1. You could choose to fight against 1 bomber, 2, 3, or 10. You could fight 1 fighter, 2, 3, or 10. You could choose there alt and yours and if they were behind you, or in front of you, or coming head on. It was very nice.
