I got alot of base captures last month,probabaly the first time in this game I actually spent time running goons and m3's..It was fun,and some times I would be the only one,and sometimes I would be one of many..BUt the point is it got captured..I do not get upset if someone "beats me to it",as it seems to be like a race,and in the scheme of taking bases,it is a win,win situation.I am pleased that you see it like that as well.
Their is another group out there that deserve much,MUCH more credit than I could ever get running troops,and those people are the SUPPLY RUNNERS.
I talked to my squad and told them that we/bish should be a bit mroe on the ball at getting ords and such up,and to back it up,when I got online one day,I spent almost 3 hours keeping 3 or so bases supplied that kept getting ord and radar downed..Talk about monotonous..
I was very suprised at what it took to supply some bases which do not have m3 spawns and such..And while I am still trying to keep that state of mind,I find myself often thinking,"someone else will get them"..But I also do a big
whenever I see someone has supplied a base.
If anyone needs to be recognized it is the people re-supplying..That is just about the most underrated and unrecognized action in this game.
