Custom object size scale?
« on: August 03, 2007, 07:58:55 AM »
When you are creating an object in AC3D how do you judge the size of it
while building it so when you import it into the object editor then the TE
you don't end up with a building half the size of the terrain tile,
or if you wanted to creat a 1 mile by 1 mile slab of concreate where can you referance the dementions or scale so it's that size?

1 unit in AC3D = 1 foot in AH.

For reference, a mile is 5280 feet.

NP :aok

By the way, it may not be obvious where to find your unit settings since there are no on-screen rulers as such. Set up your grids to that they can guide you properly, and be aware of which grids are the Major ones and which ones are Minor.
