Disabling the Windows key

I just popped the key out of the keyboard. No software installation required.

for anybody that has one and doesn't know, on the G15 there is a switch at the top to disable your windows key while gaming

I popped them out, quite irate at the time i seem to recall, filed down the back of the key, and stuck them back in place.  So they are on the keyboard but do not actually do anything.
