that song is awesome. I listened to it alot after losing my mother.

My Dad was a Oiler on the Fitz.
We spent 2 Thankgivings on the Fitz '62 and '63. Dad went back into the Navy '65.
He cried hard when the Fitz went down... He knew a few on there.

"The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" and "The 8th of November" are both good, and there's another one like them I used to like. They rarely play it anymore, even though it's kind of new: "Ridin With Private Malone".
