I know there are many that I've played against in the H2H arenas that said they'd subscribe if the rate were lower.  Well, hopefully we'll see them in the Main Arena tonight  

This is great news.  I've got 4 or 5 pals here in town that liked the game but couldn't see spending that much on it.  Same with many of the guys on the BD-5 Mailing List I'm on.  I've already sent out a zillion messages and ICQs to my pals alerting them to the rate change.

! Help advertise it. Go to Combatsim.com, the SimHQ webboards, usenets comp.sys.ibm.flight-sims and any other places you can think of.

 Put the word out like Jay Litman did (does) with Warbirds, like the AW people do and Fighter Ace folks.

 Get active all.  Spam the net.

Yup, back then I spent more of my time reading & posting on the CK boards on CompuServe (like I do here  ) than I did posting on the AW boards. But reading the AW boards periodically reminded me of someone mixing Me-163 rocket fuel.
   

It's funny though, what they don't understand they assume is easy. Combat Trim, while I don't use it- I'm sure I've fought people who do and I'm sure I shot them down too, manually trimming for dogfights is just better.    

"Auto-takeoff"- LOL! Okay, use if you want, don't use it if you don't want to. It ain't that hard, I'm not going to say "oh you easy mode dweeb" because someone has take off.

WB is the only game I know with a true easy mode-- ACA!!

I feel like im going to get a thrasing in MA soon as i enter. I have the 205 down preety well. 300mph cruise speed, it can't turn ver well, excellent BnZ and zoom climb is good.
I remember seeing a K/D ratio of the 4 Stormo flying 205 and it was like 800/200 i remember one. Would love to join there squad im italian but don't live there: squad time.
 
Maybe cause in H2H most is FFA and ppl fly uber temp and f4uC, not to mention the nik and spit. Then again i have killed them all only good that eludes a kill from he is la7 and yak.

Dont be too excited about some of the H2H guys getting a subscription due to they will be easy prey.    Many are far from "fresh meat".  Alot of those H2H pilots are great sticks and also great sports.

Playing in a H2H FFA arena builds up the "pucker" factor and give one a great SA outlook.

Alot of the sim pilots I flew against in H2H would be a great addition to the subscribers arenas.

I hope alot sign up.
