A fond farewell.
« on: August 08, 2007, 12:51:18 AM »
Well, that day has come. My funds have run clear dry. 30 hours of flight training, a share in a new plane, school supplies and a girlfriend have drained me of every spare penny. So, August is my last month. 5 days after my 15th birthday I will be signing out for the last time. Its been great flying with all of you. Overlag, Wolfie, Nonsense, Laura, and Kgbastrd... Im gonna miss you all. TwinBoom, thanks for the sounds. It really changed the gaming experience. Kev367th, Krusty, TruKill, thank you guys for my favorite skins. Kazaa, you got me hooked on this game. Im gonna miss those big old missions. And I really wish I could be around to see the begging of ToD/CT. Unfortunately, it doesnt appear I will have that opportunity for... 8 years! And then only if Ashlee doesnt mind ;). Again, its been fun. Ill try to make it into the 8 player arenas whenever I can, but im not sure it will be the same. None of the names ive grown to love, and none of those beautiful skins. Ill hang about the forums too, for a while anyway, as ive learned more here than anywhere else. Ill try to stop in on my birthday to say good bye, but im pretty sure that will be it. So, best of luck to you all. I hope you enjoy ToD/CT when it finally comes out, and Ill miss you all!

All!
Godspeed, and farewell

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

Serenity, (aka Reynolds)

You and I started AH II pretty much around the same time.  I though that for a young person, you had alot of respect and brought alot to the game with your enthusiasm.  I know that you've made alot of friends here and I'm sorry to see you go.

I wish you the best of luck with your future and hope to see you around in about eight years!

Good luck man, enjoy your school days. There's really more fun to be had there than in this game anyway. I gotta say for a squeaker, you're okay.:aok

I think i tear'd... your post made me kind of sad.  I hope you DO come back for some reason.  :D   Have fun in school.

P.S.  How do you know you won't get tons-o-money for your birthday?

The internet has proved this wrong.

Well, the problem isnt ENTITRELY the finances... its a matter of using them. Ive GOT shy on $100 a month coming in. My parents wont let me use their CC though. Thanks for all the kinds words folks. I DO hope to return after my time in the Air Force Academy (If im lucky enough to get in). Im a sophomore now, so yeah... thats about 8 years if you factor the 13-month flight training (If im even luckier!).
