I can understand the purpose of auto ack, to protect from vulching and picking. But the current accuracy of these takes it WAY to far. If your 5k up and fly over an enemy airfeild... hello, tower! That's really bad, considering the farthest out Ive ever been hit by player ack (M16's, osti's and bomber gunner's) is 1.5k. And... I cant count the times that Ive been trailing someone who then flies through ack, or I cant pursue someone because they wont come out of the ack zone, and then when someone gets fed up and dives on the ack hugger, hugger gets proxy. Extremely frustrating. Ack shouldn't be able to hit you until you get within 1000 yards of it, which would be outside the effective range of .50's, and 30mm's, so it would still prevent vulching to a degree, but wont create an inpenetratable blanket of death.
