How much do you sleep?
« on: August 09, 2007, 02:33:50 PM »
I don't ever really feel tired, but I never seem to sleep 8 hours a night anymore. I work from home so I tend to not have a normal sleep schedule being I don't have to wake up early to go anywhere.

I tend to go to sleep around 4 to 5 am and I get up at 10 to 11 am everyday. It doesn't matter if I go to sleep earlier I still always wake up after about 6 hours.

The only difference is, I notice I get more done if I wake up early in the morning. Meaning if I wake up at 6 or 7 am I seem more likely to get stuff done, than if I wake up at 11am or later even if I slept ther same amount of hours.

I can't complain really as I have almost 18 hours a day to do what ever, but I wonder if any others are the same way?

I heard that on average we spend two weeks of our lives tying our shoes.  Waste of time?  I think not...unless you enjoy tripping alot.

Yesterday got 13 hours of sleep ~ was awesome. If I could sleep that much nightly I'd be pretty happy about it.

Ever seen that sponge bob episode w/sandy hibernating & being woken up a monster? That's me.

My family lets me sleep as much as is good for their health.

Seriously ~ 8 hours at least nightly.

I average about 6.5 to 7.5 hours a night. I seldom use an alarm clock unless there is some kind of early apointment like the Doctor. I guess I wake up when I have gotten enough sleep most of the time.

Not enough lately, I'm getting about 5-6 hours a night, even on my days off, and am constantly tired. Just can't seem to sleep through the night.:(

I have one of those internal clocks... awake at 0500 period. Even if the Wifey sets a clock to 0500 I wake up 10 minutes early to keep the clock honest. Then I eyeball it... it knows its life is on line.

I haven't used an alarm clock in 30 Years...

In a past life I just waited til Mav let his Dinosuar out of the cave in the Morning.

The last time I actually "slept" was about 22 years ago.  Since then I just catch winks between meals.

Before i stopped smoking I would get about 8 to 9 hours a night and be exhausted about mid day,  now that i stopped smoking (3 months now) I get 6 to 7 hours a night I feel great all day and sleep 100 times better at night.
