lol you can tell no one plays in TT anymore.. No more hedges and most of the cover gone in TT and not a post about it.

I will agree something needed to be done, however I think HT is just going from one extreeme to the next. First it was zero cover after the game update and it lead to a lot of spawn camping.

Then way too much cover was added, so it lead to no real fights. Now we are back to some cover but not much. I think it needs to be a happy meduim. No need to remove all the barns and houses and so on.

The former terrain drove them away, and the most recent change is not known yet. May take a long time 'till people are back.

BTW, the last map that was added has a fine TT too - but nobody noticed and so it's always empty.

About 3-4 weeks ago I sent an email to Roy about doing this, he said he was gonna tell Waffle about getting rid of the hedges, and I couldn't be happier, no one went to the old TT, it was a ghost town, when I was on lastnight around 10:00 CDT I saw atleast 20 guys in TT, it's been along time since I've seen it that populated.

Yea I agree, I suggested it as well, but IMO they should have left the barns and buildings and maybe added a few tree groves. The way it is now, there will be no spawn protection again.

So it will turn into the whack a mole as soon as more people start playing there again. They did leave the trees that were close to the town. That's a good thing for sure.

The problem is it's so bare and open now you can just sit in the trees at the town and kill guys as they spawn. So I really think there needs to be a happy medium between hedges/trees vs open ground.

Not the way it used to be in old TT. The ranges are much longer, there are three spans, and its not even close to being so barren it used to be.

(But actually that TT version was extremely popular...)

Well about the spawn camping there are still 3 spawns, so all 3 would have to be camped, plus I noticed there are more hills now like the old TT, these can give you cover.  No matter what they had to change TT, the way they had it killed it.

The most effective way to win the isle's map is to take the TT center bases and fight outwords from there.  Bish players have discovered this and take center island on a regular basis.   They should make the bases uncapturable but they didn't.  I luv TT, i really really do.

I have a feeling that taking TT wont happen as much anymore as now with the improvment more people are coming back to it, I think that taking TT will be frowned upon like it use to be.

Maybe, but I was able to sit in the trees by the town and cover at least 2 of the spawn points on the north base fairly easy. Mainly the biggest diffrence from b4 is you can't spawn and already shoot at the other spawn.

I just think it the houses and barns were put back in with a few small groups of trees it would be pefect.
