Channel 200

It's too bad that Channel 200 isn't used more as a Learning Tool rather than an open Channel to complain about gameplay that doesn't go ones' way.

I had a great 3 vs 1 tonight where 2 P51Bs were flying well together and a
C202/205 was flying low. I was in an F4U-1A and locked on to one of the P51Bs...his wingman extended ...I knew I was in trouble then...these Gents were flying together. But! Hey! I thought if I could pick one off....the others might extend a bit and give me some breathing room.

We flew several merges...but the 51's kept bleeding my E as I dodged pass after pass with no guns solution. The 51's kept flying in coordination up high...and the C202/205...kept being a low threat.

I got killed.

I gave a over Channel 200 for the Teamwork demonstrated by the P51s and the C202/205. All 3 showed good Teamwork and Coordination.

My point is...Channel 200 ...is Channel 200...

Its too bad that Channel 200 isn't a Learning Channel.

Patches1 I totaly agree with you, but with the way 200 is right now I almost never tune. I get real tired of the whine this and whine that. So if my opponant doesn't use the .s command I never know about the salute unless one of my squadies says something.

Its too bad that Channel 200 isn't a Learning Channel.

That is why HTC created "Channel 6".   It RARELY get's used for it's intended purpose FOR FOLKS NEEDING HELP.

I never got channel 6....I know how to get to it...but...how do you use it...who sees it and whatnot.

Channel 200 is a nice substitute for the old channel 1.  Let's you choose to see it or not.  Just be glad they don't enable vox on 200...  that would be a riot
