howdy,

I was going to download aces high, but I needed to know if I have to have a joystick to play this game, or can I use my keypad??

it's possible to fly with the mouse, but not the keyboard. it's doable, but a joystick is SO much easier. they aren't too pricey, you can get a good one for 30 dollars i think. good luck whatever you decide

go to walmart or radioshack and grab a Saitek ST290 or a Logicrap...Saiteks are under $25.

just for the because I want to be difucult for a while

how do you fly with the mouse?
how do I take off and all that?

I used to fly with a mouse...I don't anymore...and I don't really know how to set it up either...You have to mess around with the Axis's

Use your middle (scroll) button as the throttle.
Your left button as a fire button
Your right as what you wish.

The only thing...is you have to find a good button for your "Global Mouse Control Hold Down"
