OK,
So I do this one every once in a while. How about marking (or Smoke) rockets that can be launched from aircraft to mark ground targets?

Pleaseeeeeee!

Regular rockets and tracers work just fine for most applications.  So does flying over the bad guy and telling folks over VOX where he is.

The internet has proved this wrong.

The only trouble with using tracers is I have been whined at for marking a GV with MG rounds.

I guess the mud mover I was trying to help was afraid my little P P guns would steal his kill when he put in the finishing touch...

I fixed him, I stopped helping him.  Proving once again what goes around comes around.   (Don't worry, I still had plenty of others I could and did help...)

True, and unless I'm trying to knock out a pintel gun from someone who knows how to use it to threaten me, I generally won't use MG rounds on a GV with friendly GV's around that can handle the bad guys.  I figure the GVr's drove all that way out to engage them, I can leave them the kills.

I can still fire close to the bad guys location though, to spot for good guys.

If the GV'rs out way outnumbered, or I'm flying a IL2 or Hurri-D, or carrying ord, all bets are off.

But if I get complaints or whines.... I'll find another fight somewhere.  They on their own.

you forgot about the smoke missile thing...  you forgot to wish about that.

Don't forget the ice cooler filled with your favorite beer, a lazy boy chair, and dish TV with over 30 different ESPN channels, and hundreds of those awsome movie channels to watch on your 48inch flat screen. Don't forget the remote that mutes your wife, or girlfriend (or mother) and don't forget the most important thing, your TV guide for the whole week ahead. :aok
