I would like to see the ability to create a custom task group. One with multiple CVs or multiple cruisers. The ability to set up for increased shore bombardment or increased antiair from more escorts. A menu for the spawn would be great. This would create a way to tailor the group for a specific base target.

Or just add a couple picket destroyers with their own radar sets.... maybe three running around the perimeter a couple miles out and doing their best to stay away from land. Give the carrier group more warning about incoming since CV rarely has effective CAP or patrols out.

Not a bad idea but who gets to configure it and at what point in it's trip? Once configured can it be re-configured? How do you impose limitations?

Sounds like an idea that would take a lot of planning and time to code.
