Many thanks to Rolex tonight for putting on a great torpedo skills class.  He had all the info covered down to how long it would take to teach :) .  Truely a classy individual with great teaching skills and a smooth voice to boot (you should do voice overs!)

Cheers

Rolex was very informative and a good class. I thought I had a pretty good torpedo technique but I'm pretty sure I'm changing it to use yours.

[ Optiker, Rolox said there will be a writeup on the Trainers site. With the visuals we tried to use I'd say a picture or three would help positively knowing where the line up points are. Once thats up I'm sure a Trainer could help if the class isn't held again. Or even an ex-Trainer :) ]

CC Fuze,

I'll grab the stuff from the trainer's sight and give you a holler after I've digested it. Gonna be busy this week & next so I'll need a raincheck 'til then.

Thanks for the info, <>

Well done guys.  This sounds like the best development in AH hands down.

Training that is.

Thanks guys and hope you got something out of it.

Here is link to what will likely be posted to trainers site soon. I wanted you to see the bearing lines we talked about. Note the links at the bottom to 4 films showing runs in all four planes.

Thorough and clear instruction. Great job.

Question, are the 4 torpedoes on the PT the same weapon that the TBM carries?

I beleive that was asked and the answer was yes.
The class was strictly training on air-dropped torpedos however.
