"Call God Allah"

For the sake of peace and understanding, a Dutch Bishop suggested that this term be adopted universally.

Does anyone see a problem with this sort of strategy?

"Appeasement" is definitely the right term to use.
Rising numbers of radical, fundamentalist Muslims in European countries along with corresponding violence and problems, and they are trying to placate them to make nice.

After all, it worked when dealing with Germany in the 1930's.......

Allah, Buddah, God. Nobody knows what the name of the supreme being really is, they just go with what they were brainwashed with as children. I call it Fred and it doesn't seem to have a problem with that.
