The Swedes at Massive Entertainment have done a bang-up job as usual. Like their previous RTS games this one looks awesome!

Except that their EULA states that they'll load up spyware on your box and potentially include bugs that are so serious they can mess up the whole operating system (drm related I guess).

I'm not going to risk it. Maybe I have to build a separate testing box.

Just got done playing Demo and I agree 110% w/ wolf and ack-ack, this is gonna be great.  The biggest thing that impressed me was the tutorial.

" And now we're going to use one of the biggest weapons availible, and I don't mean what's in between your legs"

That was Histerical :rofl :rofl   But it also had great help, and really didn't take to long, and the best part was, you can skip the non-important stuff he is saying to get to the "bread and butter"

I give it :aok  :aok

World in Conflict

Looks like a damn good RTS game.  Premise is the Cold War heats up when in 1988, to stave off collapse of the Soviet menace, the Soviets invade Western Europe. NATO responds only to have the Soviets open up a 2nd front...by invading the United States.

The bears fear those Hispanos don't they?

Oh... you mean modern Typhoons my bad.

Seriously:
Our old friends the Russians have been poking and proding as if they were looking for a fight.  British and was it Norway last week?  The episode with the missle and entering airspace over Georgia.  Things might be getting a little interesting soon.

I tried this game, very fun. Just keeps locking up on me. Other than the lockups it seemed to run just fine.

Oh yeah, first mission, he gives me an M-1 Tank and tells me to use it wisely. Dunno how to find/deploy it.

I never was a Command and Conquer type fan... don't like this game either.

I like the cut scenes and the attempt to give it some realism, but it is too much button smashing.
