Last chance of the day?
« on: April 07, 2000, 04:27:00 PM »
Assuming HTC works until 5 PM, we have only 26 minutes remaining.  (This is really pathetic you know ... all of us drooling over a game.  Nah!   )

How many 1.02 posts have their been today?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that HTC might not be into the practice of "5pm.. time to head out".  If it needed only another hour it would get it... of that I am confident.  What worries me is that it may need a couple more days

Sorry to be the pessimist, but it doesn't seem likely it's gonna be released today somehow. I mean, 25 minutes to set up a new version and check it's all running perfectly? Hmm..

Anyway, part of me doesn't want it to be released - I've got a ton of homework to do over this weekend and can't afford to put it off till next week. But still... Typhoon... Panzer... hangar-strafing...

I agree with AKDejavu, I dont think that HTC punchs a timecard.  They will stay late if they have want to or just cant put the work down

I think something is up though, with all the anticpation today I cant see them ignoring it all and not saying something like, "guys, its not going to happen today so dont get all worked up".  I think they have been getting ready for it today.

Oh I sure hope so. Either that or they're all sitting back laughing at us right now, all the while 1.02 waits to be posted to the downloads page.  They just want to see how long we can wait.  Ok, waiting game is on...

NEVER lose hope!  After all, since HTC is a good company, a nice company, they would have told us we weren't going to get it today by now.  Right?

The only thing that worries me is the amount of bandwidth available on HTC's download server.   (Thank god for a 100baseT connect.  1.02 will be mine in 5.9 seconds.)
